About this sangha
Started on April 28, 2022, our sangha was created and co-facilitated by the late Dr. Bob Spivey, an ordained lay monk in the Vietnamese Zen lineage of Thích Thiên-Ân, and his life partner, Beverly Naidus. Both Dr. Bob and Beverly took the 5 precepts with Thich Nhat Hanh in 1992. The sangha does a check-in, then a guided sitting for 20 minutes, walking or movement meditation for 10 minutes, then a shared reading from one of Thay's books with a formal discussion, and a final silent sit.
